Nangang

Nangang has undergone a tremendous transformation in the last few years, and is one of the fastest growing district in Taipei. Oaktree Development has secured a prime parcel to develop their first residential project in this upcoming neighbourhood.

The design is conceived as two shifting bars. The north and south elevation expresses the columns and beams, while a lighter grid is used on the end walls, embraced by the end walls of the bars. The tapered grids shift one module to further express the different heights of each bar. At the ground level, the massing is carved away to create a welcoming corner.

Nangang is currently going through the final design phase.
